CHANNEL 4 TELEVISION HEADQUARTERS LONDON SW1New build headquarters offices, studio and transmission centre with below ground car parking and landscaped park. The award-winning buildings are highly specified and serviced and are characterised by the curved glass entrance screen, glass walkways and wall-climbing lifts. The Architect for the building was Richard Rogers Partnership and it was constructed under a bespoke form of management contract, co-developed by Wheelers, at a contract value of some £39m.
Wheelers provided full quantity surveying and cost consultancy services for building and mechanical and electrical engineering services together with Executive Cost Management for all construction and occupation expenditure and the project was completed in 1994.
