Production Facilities for Vesta Blades

Wheelers acted as quantity surveyor on the new factory facility at Newport, Isle of Wight which was completed in 2004. The project was very complex requiring the identification of special production requirements for wind turbine blades and strict control of overall cost and time. The project comprised 3,500 m² of offices and 12,000 m² of production space, waterside works and new jetty, with a total cost of £20m.
