This new build dwelling for a private Client comprises 620m² of family accommodation arranged over basement, ground and two upper floors and was constructed to a ‘passive-haus’ standard. This included heavy construction, special insulation, triple glazing and installation of a combined heat and power system.
The four bedroom, four bathroom project also included a basement swimming pool with counter-swim unit, comprehensive lighting and AV systems throughout the house, media room and a staff apartment and was completed in 2010 following procurement in competition under a ‘traditional’ lump sum contract with full design.
