Refurbishment Projects

Private Members Club
Completed in 2012, the works comprised the extensive alteration and refurbishment of ten Grade II listed Georgian buildings forming an island site with internal courtyard in the narrow lanes in the heart of Mayfair with a total gross internal floor area of approximately 2,300m2.

The works included significant structural consolidation to improve floor loadings and the securing of existing structural walls and brick vaulted ceilings, the specialist internal fitting out of basement, ground and first floors to form a private members club with full kitchen and dining facilities to a very high quality, and the formation of two residential flats at second and third floors.

The fitting out of each area is unique, from themed dining areas within the basement with hand painted murals to walls and ceilings, to dining on the ground floor with timber panelling and hardwood floors to private meeting rooms on the first floor with timber panelling/specialist decorations and hard wood floors. The central courtyard was finished with a bespoke mosaic floor tiling, a stone fireplace and water feature, and rendered walls with fully restored brickwork at higher levels.

At ground floor level, the fronts of the private dining areas were sensitively restored or replaced to reflect the historic nature of the buildings. Full air conditioning and extensive audio visual and lighting control installations complete an exclusive facility.
