Scientific projects, by their very nature, tend to be technically complex and the Client User most definitely technically adept. Wheelers have built a number of facilities for high-end scientific and medical research which have tested established construction planning, design, procurement and implementation principles and procedures at every level and we have not been found wanting.
Wherever possible we have sought to glean a reasonable understanding of the technical brief and the science involved in order to prepare and present advice most usefully, a process which has secured greater compatability between the otherwise conflicting areas of scientific research and construction.
Each project is unique but a common thread is an effective and robust cost plan for all elements (most notably for engineering services) which, in tandem with effective change management procedures is most likely to deliver targeted results.
